Cleanup/Disconnect/Delete Source Systems from SAP BW system in RSA1



Suppose we get a request that:
Following source systems shall be disconnected from SXX and PXX: PX1_500 DX1_500 PX1_090

 
Note: Please open client before deleting source system
 
Go to RSA1, and then In “Modeling” go to “Source Systems”
Here you can find all the source system connected to this SAP system.

Now select the source system which needs to be deleted and right click and select delete option.

It will prompt for checking RFC connection.
Here we have checked, so we can “Ignore” it.

Now it will prompt for creating new transport request.
Create new transport request

It will prompt for local workbench infoPackage request.
Click check button.

Similarly it will prompt for local workbench Transfer Structure request.

For each InfoPackage and Transfer Structure you can see deleted confirmation

Select “Yes” for deleting Destinations and Declaration of logical system.
